Construction / Dallas Cowboys Stadium
The Dallas Cowboys Stadium is setting a precedent in architectural design and construction. It features an exemplary seating capacity to accommodate 80,000 people, as well as the largest, longest and steepest retractable roof ever constructed, the largest operable glass door in the world, and two spectacular 180 foot HD video screens.
Birdair served as roofing subcontractor for the project, supplying and installing 148,000 square feet of translucent PTFE fiberglass membrane retractable roofing panels coated with TiO2, as well as providing clamping for the retractable roofing system.
As a result of the numerous impressive structural features, Dallas Cowboys Stadium will play host to Super Bowl XLV in 2011.
