Located on the campus of California State University 13 miles south of Los Angeles, the Home Depot Center is a multiple-use sports complex. The Home Depot Center features a velodrome, a tennis stadium, and an outdoor track and field facility in addition to soccer fields. The Los Angeles Riptide, a Major League Lacrosse team, plays their home games here and the Adidas Running Club, a member of the USA Elite Running Circuit, host track meets here.
The 27,000 seat main stadium is nicknamed “The Cathedral of Soccer” and actually was designed specifically as a soccer venue, despite its other uses. It is home to Major League Soccer teams Los Angeles Galaxy and Chivas USA and was the second stadium designed specifically for MLS teams. Both the men’s and women’s MLS teams use the facility for training camps.
