The Misawa Ice Arena is the home venue of the Misawa Seniors, a local amateur Japanese ice hockey team. It primarily functions as a public skating rink, offering various sessions for different age groups and skills levels. During the 2003 Asian Winter Games, the Misawa Ice Arena hosted the women’s ice hockey short-track speed skating event.
