The largest indoor sports stadium in Taiwan, the Taoyuan County Stadium has been nicknamed by locals as “The Giant Egg" due to its dome structure. Its dome has made it one of the most recognizable landmarks in Taiwan.
The Taoyuan County Stadium has the capacity to accommodate 14,000 people, and though it is used mostly for football matches, it hosts events for sixteen different types of sports. The stadium has athletics tracks built in as well.
