The Tropical Islands Resort is housed in one of the largest buildings on earth by volume. The building, which was converted in 2004 into a large indoor resort area, can accommodate up to 8,000 visitors a day. A Birdair PVC roof with liner covers a surface area of 440,000 square feet (40.88 m2), allowing the resort to remain open through all four seasons.
