Completed in 2022, visitors to the CO State Fairgrounds will enter under a new tensile membrane structure designed and built by Birdair. The entrance canopy showcases three (3) identical canopy sections all tied into one open-air canopy system utilizing PTFE-coated fiberglass membrane with a total plan area of approximately 3,200 sq.ft. Birdair's scope of work includes design, engineering, fabrication, shipping and installation of the PTFE fabric, structural supporting steel framing system, structural cables and end fittings and clamping hardware necessary for completion.
