The New Terminal One at JFK Int'l International Airport will be Reimagined Featuring TensoSky® ETFE Film Structures by Birdair

Birdair was recently awarded the ETFE film cladding system for the Arrivals and Departures Canopies at The New Terminal One (NTO) at JFK International Airport in Queens, NY. The total combined plan area for all the arrivals and departures is approximately 300,000 sq.ft. of single-layer ETFE film with reinforcement cables. Birdair's scope of work is inclusive of design, fabrication, and installation of the ETFE film, cables and clamping with the supporting structural steel by others.
