In 2023, Birdair fabricated and installed a series of striking PVC membrane modular canopies at Sandbar Park in Webster, NY, just outside of Rochester. These structures are part of our Quasar design line—square in plan with a distinctive hyperbolic paraboloid shape that offers both visual appeal and functional shade. Each modular canopy is custom-engineered to meet specific design load criteria, ensuring strength and stability in a variety of conditions. As a full design-build solution from the base plate up, Birdair’s modular systems offer flexibility, durability, and a clean architectural aesthetic that complements the park’s waterfront setting.
