Inspired and Designed to Mimic the Undulating Northern Lights, Birdair's PTFE Canopy is a Signature Feature for Shell Place
As part of a major expansion project, MacDonald Island Park in Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada, will soon have the ability to host a variety of large-scale events with the addition of a new outdoor performance center featuring a tensile membrane canopy by Birdair. The approximate 30,000 square foot PTFE canopy structure, which overlooks the Nexen Stage and Molson Outdoor Rink at SMS Stadium in Shell Place, has become a feature widely identified with the Shell Place project.

Alcatraz and history go hand in hand. Once home to some of America's most notorious criminals, the federal penitentiary that operated here from 1934 to 1963 brought a dark mystique to the Rock. The presence of infamous inmates like Al "Scarface" Capone, and the "Birdman" Robert Stroud helped to establish the island's notoriety. To this day, Alcatraz is best known as one of the world's most legendary prisons.

The College Football Hall of Fame has a new home in downtown Atlanta and will sport a Birdair insulated tensioned membrane roof.
Birdair is currently busy constructing an insulated tensioned membrane roofing system at the new home for the College Football Hall of Fame. Originally located in South Bend, IN, this new venue will now be located in the heart of downtown Atlanta, GA which is also adjacent to a well known Birdair tensile roof, the Georgia Dome.
